The Hangover was a vile movie. With all the hype, I couldn’t wait for it to come out on DVD. I love a raunchy comedy as much as the next person as long as it’s funny. The Hangover wasn’t funny at all. I found the references to pedophila frankly disturbing and any parent who would allow their baby to be in a film to do a mock masterbation scene should be locked away for good. Anyone who finds pedophilia to be worth a laugh needs to do a shot of hemlock for the greater good and gene pool cleansing. If this is what passes for humor in America – especially among the American male, we’re doomed. Sign of the times as to how stupid we Americans are. We’re becoming an Idiocracy. There’s a movie the inbreds in the comment section should check out but I fear it’s message would be lost on them.

The writers of this script stole the character traits of each main character from The Three Contractors (www.freewebs.com/brandon00mf). A lawsuit could be coming if the writers or the director don’t comment. The flipping of hair, the slow motion walking, the fat belly long haired allen, the pussy whipped one, and the sunglass wearing condescending one, the yelling out the car on the way to vegas, and more, all registered with the writers guild. After a response to an ad on craigslist for comedy ideas, the writers took this and ran with it, adding another real story about a guys wedding gone awry in vegas, a tommy boy “deer in the car” scene which was a tiger this time, and throw in a couple of celebrities, and wham—a hit comedy!! This comedy an’t shit without the character development that was started back in 2006 and registered with the writers guild!! Thieves!!

this was the funniest movie i have seen in a long time
you my friend may think u have a great sense of humor and mabe you do but u are far too closed minded if u didnt find this film hilarious

If you don’t like the movie, that’s fine, but you don’t have to ruin it for the rest of the people who enjoyed it. I thought it was a great movie, and one that was hilarious. While I would like to see more of this kind of comedy, I don’t think a sequel would be a great idea. It would probably try to go over-board, and possibly just bomb completely.

The concept may not be as important as how it’s delivered/worked out, but the main idea is important as well. If the general concept’s not good, nothing can save it, not good writing, not humorous moments.
