Elizabeth Mitchell may be at Comic-Con to help promote V, her upcoming drama for ABC this fall, but that doesn’t mean she’s done talking about Lost. Lingering questions still remain about Mitchell’s heart-wrenching demise as Juliet last spring, specifically: Is that really the last time we will hear from her character? Mitchell, speaking to EW exclusively on the Comic-Con floor, says she understands all the interest in Juliet’s future whereabouts. “I don’t have closure,” she said. “I love closure and will be happy for it when it comes.” Which means? Juliet’s storyline “hasn’t really reached its end yet,” Mitchell hinted. “There are other things happening in the next season.”
In fact, Mitchell was apparently assured that there was room for both V and Lost if Team Darlton — aka Lost honchos Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse — wanted her back in Hawaii. “I had to ask if V succeeded, does that mean I would be on Lost less? [She learned] I’ll be on Lost the same amount. Lost is the best…with their schedule. They actually told me what it is. It’s very exciting. All the [V and Lost] producers are really good at talking to each other.”
Even one of her co-stars encouraged Mitchell to pursue the gig on V. Mitchell said Evangeline Lilly (Kate) read the script and gave it a thumbs up. ABC is expected to announce a premiere date for V, a series version of the memorable miniseries of the same name, within the next month.

I used to hate Juliet, but that last character arc with Sawyer was so heart wrenching, she won me over. Mitchell is playing a tough role, as cool-headed intellectual are difficult for the audience to latch onto. But when Juliet finally beared her heart, it was all the more powerful. I hope there is temporal reboot that allows her to survive.

Couldn’t this be a really clever way of saying, “I’ll be on Lost the same amount–because whether or not I took V, I was never going to be on the show for season six.”
It definitely appears from her comments that a return is confirmed, but why aren’t there any quotes that say it outright?

Yes Elizabeth Mitchell! This is great and I am so happy to hear this. Now I can see her on Lost and V (double does of Elizabeth next year). She is one of the best actresses around!
Maybe La Mitchell will finally get her most-deserved emmy nod next year then. Lost without Juliet is…well…lost.

Actually, V was turned into a series before–right after the miniseries–but it only lasted one season.

The question is not whether Juliet (Elizabeth) will be back. We’ve known that she will definitely appear in a couple of episodes since May. The question is in how many episodes she will be.

Juliet is one of the best portrayed characters on the show. Elizabeth Mitchell is tops, and it’s great news that we will get to see her on both programs. I will set my DVR for both Lost and V.
On the 6th final season.In 2010.Everbody is going be Rescued.Also All the castaways will be Reunited with their families.Cant wait for that in 2010
