I worked with children for more than ten years now, and I am a proud father of two angels myself. I don’t like to say this as an admirer of a great entertainer (may you rest in peace MJ), but the outburst into tears of his daughter was unfortunately not genuine for certain (note: NOT genuine, but not necessarely scripted/staged/faked).
Almost all of my colleagues at the faculty of social and psychological sciences thought so too. It was apparent as we took notice of the daughter’s behaviour and facial signs from the beginning on stage while the brothers are speaking, towards the speech itself. The case of the outburst was professionally espoused by her environment, thus making this subject more controversial.
I understand and respect all comments that denies this fact though; we are all humans and bound to emotions. A lost parent is the worse thing which could happen for a child and critisizing this hypothesis of faking her outburst is thus understandable for the common.

When Paris spoke nothing else needed to be said. Paris said who her parent was. I wish the medial would leave these poor children to grieve and stop all the garbage about who the biological parents are. They don’t care and neither should we.

Fitting and beautiful tribute. It all touched my heart, and I never saw them in concert but grew up one state away(Kentucky) and am seven years older than Michael Jackson. Everyone with negative comments ought to get a life and stop putting down someone that can’t speak now. God is the only one that can rightly judge anyone. And that includes you and you and you.

The child spoke from her heart, and it did not look scripted or that she was prompted by anyone, including Aunt Janet. What does it matter if they are his biological kids or not. It doesn’t matter to these children and it should not matter to the public either.

We’ve all heard what a great father MJ was though we never had the chance to witness it until little Paris spoke. Don’t know about y’all, but at 11yrs old, I couldn’t have been that brave and articulate. That nerve came from her Daddy. He trained her well!

All of you people are sick. Let those poor kids alone. Life will cause them so much grief as it is, that no amount of therapy will heal their hurt. Frankly I was not a MJ fan,but you have to empathize. Don’t all you jerks have something constructive to do…get a life
