I too was underwhelmed by Public Enemies, but I’d rather see that and Ice Age do well than Transformers.

Mr. Coolio is very much misinformed that Transformers Costed $500m, this is the first time some i heard a stupid exaggaration comment…People if u gonna exaggerate please do so but exaggaration has its limits being stupid is not exaggaration…Transformers 2 costed $250m approximately and for ur kind of information it has already made the $500m im Worldwide total..!!! GEESH people STUPID ENOUGh

With all the bad word of mouth there was no way that Transformers was going to maintain it’s hold on the box office, especially now that the children who saw it last week have moved on to the other kiddie movies in the pipeline. G-rated movies always do well but with Up and Ice Age there is a lot of kiddie fare competing with Transformers. Transformers cost 500 mil. to make but it should earn back it’s cost overseas and make a decent profit on DVD and a much bigger profit on video games. With the bad word of mouth Transformers 2 could easily have been another Speed Racer debacle.
