I wonder whose eggs those were? They should make announcement or something. I have a feeling they weren’t her eggs. And I don’t necessarily agree about the bed comment – it’s very tiring to give birth to twins, even if you use a surrogate.

The woman who gave birth to the twins was a “gestational surrogate” – she supplied no genetic material. Presumably, the eggs and sperm were Sarah’s and Matthew’s. The general public will probably never know for sure, which is a good thing, since it really isn’t anybody’s business.
