If Adam didn't intend for his demos (as he calls them) to be heard by the public even though he wrote or co-wrote most of the songs then why did he do a demo? Is it the habit for record companies to ask artists to do demos just because they felt like it and for undiscovered artists (in need of money) to try to get something in the works? Record companies are in the business to make money. The album was probably so bad, they never released it but now that Adam got all that free publicity, they finally saw a way to redeem their initial investment in producing it & decided to release it. It's no sweat off their backs. I don't blame them one bit for trying to make a buck. If those songs were released, Adam would have gotten royalties for them. This all sounds very fishy to me. I have a feeling that Adam "conveniently" forgot to tell A.I. that it was out there prior to being signed as a contestant which might pose a problem or may have disqualified him if he revealed it. He should have told A.I. it was out there and might surface because his fans would have wanted anything he put out. Now it's too late to do anything about it because he was a finalist & was already signed by RCA/19R. If this information had come out prior to final 10, he could have very well been disqualified. It's one thing doing a independent album, but quite another having a potential album out there that RCA/19R won't see a dime of profit from it even though they gave Adam all that TV time & exposure. I know David Cook, who had an independent album actually had to pull it off the market during the competition. He only sold about 1K copies prior to the competition and if he hadn't pulled it, people would have bought it. Cook wasn't under any management contract or a signed artist either. I have a feeling Adam was hoping it wouldn't come up because he may have been disqualified. In the event he wouldn't have finished 2nd or signed, he would have always had that previous album to fall back on having the added advantage of getting all that free exposure on A.I. They gave Carla Smithson all kinds of grief for having been under contract at one time as a "plant" however, she was no longer under contract prior to being a contestant. Adam seems to have gotten a free pass & not scrutinized enough. My problem is that there are many underexposed artists out there putting out Eps, singles, etc., but not selling and all they needed was exposure & they couldn't compete on A.I. due to A.I. restrictions.

Personally, I just love it when negative posts describe Adam as a ‘screecher’ or leave disdainful remarks about his tongue. Just lets me know they know nothing about vocal techniques. However, I love to read vocal coaches describe, for example, the long lasting note in “Feeling Good” - “that downward vocal spiral after you held this note, flawlessly executed without a breath or even the remotest facial evidence of concern, was testament to your highly refined technical skills. The descending scale was seamless, pure and centered. It actually reminded me of the technical strength and power of classical artist, Cecilia Bartoli, who is, to my mind, the best classical singer in the world today.” – Rosanne Simunovic. ADAM WILL BE A WORLDWIDE STAR!

Okay, I read somewhere that Hi Fi was not releasing the album until Dec. ’09 and that RCA may have had a hand in this. Still trying to find the source that gave actual album release dates. Personally, I just love it when negative posts describe Adam as a ‘screecher’ or leave disdainful remarks about his tongue.
By all the interviews with famous song writers etc. THEY have requested to work with Adam as they know he will do a fantastic job with their music. 19E didn't have to promote Adam as his talent and charisma spoke for itself.

To all of the Adam haters I wish you would get off the sites about Adam and get a life. We, who love Adam and his music, don't want to hear your opinions! Course I have been known to say a few choice words about Gokey after the Facebook/Twitter fiasco, but that's different. Everyone knows he's digusting.

John, when I don't like someone I don't go around reading articles about them. If I happen to see an article about them that catches my eye I still don't waste my time or energy commenting about them. I have better things to do with my time than write negative comments.

I think the Glambert fans need to get thicker skin. You want to praise him, fine, but not everyone loves this guy and if people want to criticize him, that's their right. Take your conservative 'sit down and shut up' viewpoint that we got rid of in the last election and go somewhere else.

To me, if you can't say something nice then don't comment. We don't want to hear it. FoxSux, If you don't like Adam's singing don't listen to it. I happen to love listening to him sing. I also think his versions of the songs are better than the originals.
