David’s father John Carradine appeared in so many black and white horror movies. David told me that his father would scare the hell of both he and Keith at night when he would come home in character!

Wow…this makes me sad–and puzzles me, too. He was making a movie. Why would he kill himself?? I can’t believe what I’m hearing about it being accidental, though. How do you “accidentally” hang yourself in a closet?? I don’t want to think he was murdered, either, but I can’t ignore the possibility…:(

this news, makes me sad because,i liked his work.i don’t understand how and why he could kill him self.i loved his show kung fu never missed it,i understand by the news that he had more movie in line. he also was just doing one,so this was a loved person .he had a job he liked doing what could make him do this?strange no sorry but, i don’t see this man hanging himself naked in a closet.in a strange county. living his family with this… nope no way would this man end his life like this.

This generation doesn’t know of the Kung Fu series, but that concept was Bruce Lee’s idea, and the producers took it from Bruce because “America wasn’t ready for a Chinese hero.” Carradine got it, and he didn’t stand up for Bruce. The people Mr. Carradine offended don’t forget these types of things. 30 years is nothing. A vendetta like this will last against not just David Carradine, but against the whole Carradine family.

I do not believe the COD as first reported either, it just does not fit the profile of a 72 year old sucessful actor. I will NEVER believe he died of suicide, no way. There is more to this story that has not been found. I personaly believe he was helped out of this world by an unknown. I will miss his acting, he truley was a great actor. I grew up watching his films from the 70’s onward. His portrayal of “Bill” was brilliant and very believable, David Carradine was a master at his craft.
I am deeply saddened by his death and was stunned when I heard the news reports. RIP

It is being ruled as an accidental death by suffocation. It appears that David was practicing autoerotic asphyxia and had a rope tied to his neck & genitals. Very sad, he was a wonderful actor.
Honestly, it just doesn’t add up. His family said that he was in good spirits when he left to film the movie. Not to mention that his career was moving in a very positive direction after the Kill Bill saga.
I suspect there is more to this than just a simple suicide.
