Celebrity Apprentice might not be the brag-worthy hit The Apprentice used to be, but it pulled off the rare feat of taking the 10 p.m. hour away from ABC’s Brothers & Sisters (8.8 million) and CBS’ The Unit (9.7 million). The three-hour (!) broadcast averaged 8.7 million viewers overall, peaking in its final hour with 10.2 million. The rest of the night played out in typical fashion, with 60 Minutes (10 million) and The Amazing Race (10.4 million) pulling strong numbers for CBS, and Desperate Housewives (12.1 million) staying solid in its penultimate episode of the season. As for the rest of the weekend, Fox scored on sleepy Saturday with NASCAR (6.5 million) and CBS continued to dominate Friday with Ghost Whisperer (9.4 million) and Numb3rs (9.5 million).

Those definitely aren’t good ratings for Brothers & Sisters r Desperate Housewives compared to what their numbers used to be – ABC really needs a big hit this season to remain competitive … It’s highest rated series are losing viewers and are at least four seasons old.
Cold Case should definitely be kept for next season and Wothout A Trace cancelled especially considering what a big lead-in Trace has with The Mentalist … Last nights episode was really good and every episode has a different feel with the different time periods they’re from.
I’ll never watch the Apprentice again. In fact, the only good thing about this season was Duke. Trumps’ ignorance of the bottom line is probably one of the reasons he’s bleeding money.
Joan is a mean-spirited tart – the reason she was fired from the Tonight Show, fired from E! Red Carpet, fired from pretty much any job that doesn’t involve selling cheap ugly jewelry is the same reason the designer dropped out of helping her – she is obnoxious. She should ask herself why none of her friends gave money and why the closest celebrities at the party were drag queens – why? Because everyone who has ever been in touch with her despises her. Her pathos is best demonstrated in her addiction to plastic surgery, which is yet another way for her to pay people to care for/about her. Don’t even get me started on her pathetic daughter – with 6 billion people in the world, any reason a multi-millionaire is alone? Beyond Melissa’s horse chompers and hypo-thyroid bulging eyes, lies a truly caustic personality. Annie was by far the better player and psst…Kodak executives…with your decision it is no wonder you missed the digital revolution and are left selling photo frames.
It was very unfair the end of the apprentice. The only reason I came up with to explain such a ridicoulus decision is that the Donald was afraid of Annie taking over his fortune by outsmarting him
I was completely turned off by the end of the Celebrity Apprentice. Annie Duke should have won hands down. The Trumps made a remark that she had poker celebrity but they were not well known but she still raised over $450,000.00 You tell me whose celebrity friends were better… I think Donald Trump knew all along he was going to let JOan Rivers win. He send home Khloe Kardashian because she was caught drunk driving and had to make a class for her problems. She was trying to make amends for her mistake, but he said she deserved to go home because of that yet he allowed Dennis Rodman to return who had a drinking problem on the show and Joan Rivers who made disgusting derogatatry remarks about everyone. I feel he just did it for the ratings and I will never watch his show again. It was a real turn off.
I loved the Celebrity Apprentice that is until this one. The way Annie Duke was treated is a shame.I strongly belive that Mr. Trump and especially Joan Rivers owe the poker player a BIG appology and set things traight.
The last Celebrity Apprentice was such a setup. I announced at the beginninng of the show, when I saw how far TRUMP’S nose was up Joan behind, that it was a NY SETUP against Annie Duke. The CLEAR WINNER~

This was nothing more than a Trump orchestrated public attack on Las Vegas itself. Who better to do it for him than the acerbic, nasty old comedian and her old drag queen friends who couldnt get gig in Vegas at the Double Down Saloon, much less the MGM, Caesars, or Wynn. Trump has been trying, and failing miserably, for 50 years to crack Vegas. Finally, after getting ONE of his two OFF STRIP towers built (with no casino liscense ), the economy tanks and The Donald goes bankrupt…AGAIN. Since they couldnt get Steve Wynn or Kirk Kerkorian on the show, they got little Annie Duke and set her up for failure. And set Joan up for rant after rant about gamblers and poker players and the mob and all the evil doers who rejected Trump’s lousy offering in Vegas. The Donald (and Joan and Melissa Rivers) are OVER in Vegas. Joan, at least, had her day in the sun. Donald never did. The one odd twist to all of this is that Cirque du Soleil, a Vegas powerhouse, was unwittingly used in the attack.
STOP HATING ON JOAN.. Annie Duke acted like a two faced child. Joan rocked at age 75 and it was the BEST decision ever. GREAT JOB DONALD TRUMP..say what you want to about Donald, but he is the MAN. Those who say Joan was the right choice are racist … how can an awful, spiteful, individual be allowed to call anyone worse than Hitler? Where does she come off saying such things and be considered a “role model” by the Trumps? I guess the Trumps think Hitler is a hero. He cuts off Annie Duke from defending herself, allows Joan Rivers to attack attack and attack. Donald had made the decision to let Joan win, Annie was never going to win under any circumstance due to his common friends with Joan Rivers. First Trump tried to hammer Annie by giving her a seemingly unwinnable task of beating a grammy award winning songwriter at a jingle writing contest. Lo and behold Annie came out victorious there. Sooo, then Trump adds FOUR totally subjective goals to the final task so when, even after getting outraised in the $$ for charity aspect 3-1, he can still ahnd the win to his buddy Joan. LOL, even after Joan got the $250k from the show Annie STILL raised more $$ for her charity.

Annie was no victim… She really was two-faced, back-stabbing, egotistical. Once you get past all that money her poker friends threw at her, she really wasn’t all that good. How about the fact that Joan lied about pissing the Room decorator off so bad that they wouldn’t work with anyone from the show. I know that designers are diva’s and get mad easily but why would Joan act like she didn’t do a thing. IT WAS ON FILM, Remember Clint Black asking, what about Annie?
