Ratings: Fox wins Wednesday with 'American Idol' and a bloody 'Bones'

Fox won Wednesday night easily, this time thanks to the powerhouse combination of Bones (up 17 percent from last week) and the American Idol results show. The second episode of ABC’s new quirky-cop series The Unusuals lost only 8 percent of last week’s debut audience — not bad! (A 10-15 percent drop is considered normal.) Meanwhile, ABC’s new comedy Better Off Ted, which had dipped a little last week, upped its total viewership by 8 percent. Scrubs‘ viewership was up from last week, too, by 15 percent.

How do those ratings stack up against previous Idol seasons? The winner being so obvious this season has definitely hurt the show. I have family that has stopped watching this year for the first time in 8 years because they already know Adam will win and the all the surprise has left the building.

Better Off Ted didn’t play in all markets though, that isn’t right!

    I can’t believe it.
Lost lose to a repeat of CBS Criminal Minds.
I guess most people are waiting for the DVD boxset of Lost to watch it entirely.
So there are more viewers watching Amazing Race or even Survivor compared to Lost.
