The American Idol results show dominated Wednesday night’s ratings, as usual, and the CBS lineup put in some typically solid results. But there was little good news for ABC, whose sitcoms Scrubs and Better Off Ted lost half a million viewers from last week. Lost, too, was down 14 percent from last week, and the debut of the cop series The Unusuals drew a mediocre 6.8 million viewers (88 percent of its lead-in audience from 9 p.m.’s Lost). Fox’s Lie To Me hit another all-time low in total viewership, while NBC’s Life was down 25 percent from last week’s new episode.

Thought the Unusuals was interesting enough – but I can’t fathom why ABC would greenlight THREE quirky New York cop drama for the same season.
And for anyone still interested – that was the season, and likely series, finale for Life. Thought they wrapped it up pretty well.

I love Lie to Me. I hope it starts to get better ratings in the coming weeks. It could definitely be the new House.
After ABC cancelled “Life On Mars” I vowed not to get invested in any new series they throw at me. I’m glad I didn’t watch “The Unusuals” because it looks like it will be cancelled shortly too.
forget Lost and the Unusuals, they aren’t in trouble. The show everyone SHOULD be watching is Better Off Ted! see why here:http://theninthdragonking.wordpress.com/2009/04/11/tv-better-off-ted/
I watched the first episode of the Unusuals and then half of the second thinking it couldn’t get any more boring, but I was wrong. This was what “Life on Mars” was canned for? I’m weary about watching new shows for fear of liking them and then being cancelled. On the other hand, though, any new drama is better then another reality show.
