No surprise, ABC’s Dancing With the Stars was far and away the Monday night winner with 20.2 million viewers, according to preliminary overnight ratings. The network’s mid-season series, Castle, meanwhile, held steady with 9.8 million fans, same as last week. Over on Fox, a guest appearance by rapper/actor Mos Def helped drive House to a solid 12.2 million. The night was not good for NBC’s Chuck, though, as the series struggled with only 5.6 million viewers.

I feel bad that Chuck continues to loose viewers, but I can’t help but laugh that Heroes is doing so bad. Heroes is horrible still and Bryan Fuller just proved that not even he can save it. Seriously, if his episode was as good as everyone is trying to make it out to be than why did this weeks episode loose another 130 thousand viewers? wasn’t Bryan Fuller described as the man who was going to save the show and bring back viewers?
Heroes stinks and I will continue to laugh at NBC for renewing it for season 4, it was a stupid decision that is guaranteed to blow up in their face.
Vanessa, that’s a bit harsh. Why do you hate a TV SHOW so much? And it’s not that much of a stupid decision, Heroes does very well in the 18-49 viewing range which advertisers LOVE.
And how would you know if Heroes sucks even with Bryan back? Why are you watching it if you hate it so much? The Bryan Fuller episodes HAVE been a lot better.
UGH FRUSTRATING!!! Chuck is SOOOO good people! NBC, please understand that this is happening because it’s in the worst time slot you could put it in – move Chuck to a different night, don’t cancel it!!
Big Bang Theory is hilarious and I hope more people watch it. I am, of course, guilty of watching Dancing With Stars. It is honestly a guilty pleasure. The only part I hate about Dancing is Samantha Harris. I fast forward through her interviews because they’re so lame and predictable.

I really wish I could watch Chuck but I have very little time for the shows I watch now. I also feel the same about HIMYM. Good shows just not time or space on my DVR.
Chuck is a great show, and I bet that a lot more people are watching it post-broadcast on DVR/playback or online. I agree that Chuck would fare better on a different night (Tuesday or Wednesday, anyone?) Hopefully, NBC knows better than to cancel it!
Also, HIMYM is an amazing show and I am glad to see that it’s picking up fans, but hope its ratings continue to grow, too!
I get soooo frusterated, the episodes are continously getting better, but the show is losing viewers. NBC should lose heroes and maybe give Chuck its time slot, but really switching to different night would not work. instead of pushing heroes NBC should push Chuck. It is much more consistent.
movin chuck to tuesday or wednsaday probably wouldnt work. that would make it face American Idol, and if it loses viewers to the craptastic DWTS then it would lose to Idol, Chuck needs to stay on Mondays and people deserve to watch because it is truly great.
I just love, love, love the new show Castle!!! Nathan Fallon is so amazing. I hope it stays for good.

Chuck good. Castle good CSI Miami a joke bad acting, only the perfect people get murdered and least we forget their scientists not cops unidetifiable characters and poor cinematocraphy. It does say a lot about our viewing habits that we watch this creation. I hope Chuck stays and I have no interest in DWTS.
