Ratings: 'Lie to Me' survives time slot switch. It's true!

Categories: TV Biz, TV Ratings

Fox’s Lie to Me, which switched time slots with American Idol for the first time Wednesday night, pulled down numbers comparable to what it got when it aired after the ratings Godzilla. Meanwhile, the lackluster series debut of NBC’s Chopping Block drew in only 4 million viewers, good enough only to beat an hour of Scrubs reruns on ABC. Over at The CW, America’s Next Top Model bettered last week’s season premiere audience by 13 percent.

Yay!!! I love Lie to Me and now I can DVR it because it isn’t up against Criminal Minds and LOST!!! I was downloading and burning DVDs of it. HD last night!!!

If a REPEAT episode of Lost can get 4.2 million viewers when it’s against American Idol, then the NEW episodes should do just fine in that time slot! :)

Lie to Me is one I let slip on the DVR, because I can always watch it on Hulu. I hope they’re getting ratings credit from Hulu.

For all intents and purposes we only have to major networks in this country now: CBS and Fox.

I’m finding more and more ‘Internet’ shows that I like better than TV shows now. Immortal Caesar: Life of a Pro Boxer is definitely my favorite, I love that show more than several TV shows. But beyond that, I’m just not feeling NBC’s show anymore.
