Ratings: 'American Idol' and 'CSI' trounce Thursday's competition

Fox’s American Idol won Thursday evening with its wild card episode, drawing 21.2 million viewers, an uptick from the audience for last week’s results show. Competing against Idol at 8 p.m., CBS’ Survivor managed to hold onto most of its viewers from last week, drawing 12 million pairs of eyeballs. At 9 p.m., the Eye’s  CSI dominated with 21 million watchers, making it a close No. 2 on the night. The stalwart procedural gained 3.2 million viewers from last week’s new episode. And for the second week in a row, ER gained viewers, as did its rival at 10 p.m., CBS’s Eleventh Hour.

I don’t know if you all know or care about this, but Burn Notice had 6.1 million viewers! Which means it beat BOTH Grey’s Anatomy & My Name Is Earl!!!
