The Oceanic 6 were in good company for their journey back to the Island: The electromagnetic pockets of last night’s Lost attracted 11.3 million viewers, up 13 percent from a disappointing performance last week when the Lost gang had to share a time slot with a two-hour American Idol. Lost’s total audience from last night (which also hit a season high in the coveted 18-49 demographic) is about on par with the series’ season 4 average. Meanwhile, Lost’s followup, ABC’s Life on Mars, continues to sink — its 5.8 million viewers didn’t come close to the 8 million the show consistently attracted during the fall season. Fox’s Lie to Me — which did not air last week due to the two-hour Idol — lost 14 percent of its audience from Feb. 11.

I really wish NBC would cancel Knight Rider and move Life to 8pm. I am LOST addict, so I watch LOST live and have to DVR Life right now.
Lost, Lie To Me, Life, and Life On Mars, all excellent shows and all starting with ‘L’s. Huh. Anyway, if you haven’t checked any of them out, do yourself a favor and beat internet feet to their sites and give them a long look. Hopefully, they all make it to another season.

Life is a great show but I have to watch Lost so I DVR Life. I wish Life was on at 8pm.
The reason Lost has not been as big as a draw in the ratings is because of the time slot. Why would ABC have it for four seasons at 10 pm and suddenly move it to 9 pm?
Eric, LOST actually aired at 8 pm ET in season 1, 9PM in seasons 2 and 3, and half the season at 9PM and half at 10 PM last year. The time slot has nothing to do with it.
Life On Mars is starting to pick up the pace. It has me hooked.
So THat means Criminal minds is a Better show than Lost?
