Web reports that Lindsay Lohan has been cast in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street are false, according to producer Brad Fuller. “It is a total joke,” Fuller tells EW via e-mail. The report seems to have originated from a story on JustJared.com quoting Andrew Form, Fuller’s partner along with Michael Bay at Elm Street production company Platinum Dunes. “Michael, Bradley and I couldn’t imagine having a better actress for the part,” Form is quoted as telling the site about Lohan. Fuller, however, flatly denies anyone has been cast in the film. “We haven’t hired a casting director yet,” he says, “so we haven’t had any casting discussions at all….For that matter, if Drew ever called me Bradley, I would kick him in the nuts.”
