CSI without Petersen is better than with Petersen. Let’s face it, WP wanted to leave years ago and has been mostly phoning it in the last couple of seasons. Fishburne is the breath of fresh air the show needed. And really, are the people who post here saying they love and adore WP but can’t even spell his last name correctly really even watching the show?

It really frosts me when actors get a hit show, develop a loyal fan base, see their popularity jump and then decide it is time to move on. That says to me they have no respect for their fan base.

I like Fishburne as an actor but he just doesn’t feel right on the show. And he is a Lvl 1 CSI and they are spending alot of camera time with him. They should not forget about the CSIs who have been there and that we care to watch like Nic. But if the show is like this weeks it will soon lose my attention.

I’m sure Fishburne’s going to do a good job, but I’ll miss Grissom. I just don’t think Fishburne is an actor that fans will flock too. Definitely won’t add any fans, but hopefully won’t take too many away. Plus, I’m shallow…Peterson was adorable. Fishburne…not so much:(

Without Peterson, Fox and Dourdan watching CSI is pointless. I loved CSI for the characters not the crimes. After season 3 all the crimes seemed the same anyways, blah, blah, blah. I know it is a procedural show, but the characters drove it and made it one of the best shows on TV. I loved the interactions with all the cast and I miss them all together, something just seems off with the show. Please bring back Peterson and Fox for a few guest appearances and I may stay interested. Pay them extra, they deserve it!!!

I watched the first 10 minutes of CSI. I don’t think it it realistic the way Fishbourne’s character has been introduced. It just isn’t the same show. It was always the cast that made it great. I miss Grissom, Sara and Warrick. I want my old CSI back. Maybe as a ratings ploy we can get Grissom and Sara back from the jungle and Warrick can appear as a ghost or something…I think CSI has lost it’s heart and soul. At least I have my old DVD’s for support.

I’ll miss Peterson. Although Fishburne is a wonderful actor, I don’t think he will have the audience that Peterson had. Can’t say I will tune in as much now.

9pm on the CW .. SUPERNATURAL (not Smallville).
I’ve heard that a number of people thought that the 9pm Bones episode was a repeat (even though the network had been promoting both as new episodes during the week) .. so that explains part of the loss of viewers, but it is probably other things too .. like some viewers having another show on at 9pm be the priority .. me, for example! I love Bones .. but at 9pm I was watching Supernatural! (and I know other SPN viewers that did the same thing)
