The second night of 24’s two-part season premiere scored a solid 12.3 million viewers, down just 300,000 viewers from the previous night, according to preliminary overnight rating, but Jack Bauer’s biggest foe may be the growing audience for CBS’ Monday night line-up: Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother both posted 11.8 million viewers, a record for Theory and second-highest numbers for HIMYM. Meanwhile, ABC’s The Bachelor held strong in its second week with 9.1 million viewers, which is actually about 400,000 more than the audience for last week’s premiere. Less promising was the Tyra Banks-Ashton Kutcher-produced True Beauty, which dropped about 1.2 million from the previous week’s debut.

It’s interesting how well Big Bang and HIMYM is suddenly doing, especially HIMYM in its 4th season.
WOW! OTH beats Gossip again!!
Everyone should be watching Jack Bauer. Best show ever made.
I’m so happy that Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are doing as well as they are! Two truly funny comedies are finally getting the audience they deserve!!
I love 24. Such an action packed show. Jack Bauer is the man of all men. He has the longest days ever! http://www.entertonement.com/clips/57515/Longest-day-o-my-life
well the movie is just so so
I LOVE Big Bang and Two and a Half Men. Two of the funniest shows on TV!
Use to watch 24 but got so turned off to their ever increasing need for violence and torture that I now refuse to watch it. The Bush regime thinks 24 is reality so that’s what persuaded them that torture was the way to go. Sickening. Thank God that ugly episode of American history is coming to a close.
superstars is dropping fast. i bet nigel regrets quitting idol…
Now we have retards blaming 24 for the Bush administration’s follies? I would like to blame Cheers for alcoholism, Will and Grace for the Larry Craig scandal, and Scarface for the drug epidemic.
