Chris, you should have casted Steven Strait for the role of Jacob. If CG costs so much, why wouldn't you cast a boy to fill the shoes of what should look like a man's, from the boook? I want to see the book, not what the face of what the little girls are use to seeing. When Jacob is getting bulkier, you should at least have Steven stand in the next time Bella sees him to notice the change he is going through. Good luck, with the budget and staying true to the book.

Thought Hardwicke did a great job. New one just has to have same passion to incorporate the books better. Can't wait for New Moon. Maybe they should produce New Moon and part of Eclipse, as a 2nd movie, Edward would be in it more - 2.5 hour movie and the other part of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn in a 3rd and final 2.5 hour movie. I'm one of the older aged fan of Twilight, I'm really surprised how it touched me. Young romance really awakened a buried feeling, that has inspired me in surprising ways. My daughters and I loved it, especially after reading the book - it filled in the missing pieces of the movie. Twilight could have been a 3 hour movie, and I think the audience attention would have stayed captured. The entire cast was great.
Song suggestions for New Moon...James Blunt's "Good-bye My Lover and Taylor Swift's "Breathe", they would fit so well for soundtracks. Can't wait for a new Twilight sequel...I hope the cast can hang in there. The movie was magical.

I don't really have a strong opinion. Except for Taylor.. who looks and sounds like a great kid, goodluck with the rest of his career.. but he cannot play Jacob in New Moon and Eclipse. His Jacob was perfect as a 15-year old pre-transformation phase. New Moon needs an older, bigger, more manly Jacob, one who has believable chemistry with Kristen's Bella and one who can be a feasible rival to Robert's Edwards.

I can't believe the amount of loyalty given to Catherine Hardwicke for Twilight. She didn't do the book justice. There were so many adaptations to the storyline that it was no where near as romantic as the book. Additionally the character development was very poor and Edward and Bella's relationship didn't seem as epic as it was in the book. The score was terrible! The use of Muse's song was poorly placed and Linkin Park's song use in the credits was offending. The Edward theme music was strange. The dialouge, music and special effects drew attention to the fact that the budget was small. I Did like the costume design and the blue/grey film style. I think the appearance for Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper and Jacob were dead on. Rosalie wasn't nearly as pretty as the book depicts and Emmett looked like a typical jock. They did well with Laurent, but they missed out on Victoria! Her hair was not nearly red enough. Remember the cliff scene discribes Bella seeing her hair looking like fire.

I have read all four of the Twilight Saga and they are fantastic. I think that when they make New Moon that the song Unbeautiful by Lesley Roy should be the song that they play in the beginning. I won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't read it but you will know what I am talking about if you have.
