i just hope the movie does come out and the similarities between the trailer and the comics are but a hint of how faithful this adaptation is. if you dont want to make a movie of ‘watchmen’ dont call it watchmen, i’m talking to you ‘from hell’ or ‘v for vendetta’. i can understand why alan moore has no faith in hollywood and had his name removed from this project, i hope he was wrong this time

trust me the movie will not be as good as the book, especially since Zach Snyder changed the entire ending. The ending is what made the book for me, oh well i’ll wait for the blu ray.

In the meantime, read the book! (again, if necessary) It’s likely to be better than the movie ever could be (although I’d love to be proven wrong and see this amazing story executed on-screen with the same degree of sheer brilliance that it was on paper), and plus, no fancy lawyers can deny your right to enjoy it via this medium…or at least, not yet.
