dick, I completely disagree with you. Hugh Jackman is one of the most talented actors of our generation. Not only can he act, he can sing and dance quite well, as is evident from the Tony Award he won for Boy From Oz, which I had the pleasure of seeing on Broadway. He is also an extremely gracious man who fully appreciates his fans. He spent over a half hour after the show with fans outside the stage door signing autographs and taking pictures. I wish more actors were like him and I’m very much looking forward to seeing him on the Oscars. He’s the only reason I’ll be watching. By the way, I saw Australia and loved it. He was SMOKIN’ HOT in it.

Not only is he polite, caring and simply gorgeous but remember he is the sexiest man alive” – are you kidding me???:) I’m wondering whom he fu..ed that they chose him “sexiest man alive”:)You guys really think he is sexiest?:) and to pick him for Oscars?:) is he even funny?:) are you guys on dope or something?:)it’s really make me think that someone is trying to make big deal from him, but there are much better actors and more handsome. And Australia -sucked. So ANY honest opinions??

Jackman is eye candy for sure but I was really hoping the Academy would let a woman host this year! Whoppi did a great job. Ellen rocked at the Emmys. Kathy Griffin or Wanda Sykes would be fabulous. So what gives Oscar? why no love for the ladies?

Hugh Jackman, huh? He did okay hosting The
Tonys awhile back, but I’m not so sure he will be a host who can sustain Oscar night. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Science people really need to offer Billy Crystal a ridiculous amount of $ for him to host TheAcademy Awards. Mr. Crystal is the best, and he can always give the $ he earns to his favorite charity which I’m sure this is what he would do. If Billy Crystal is not available, Stephen Colbert can fill Mr.
Crystal’s shoes better than Mr. Jackman.
