I find it totally hilarious that David Cook's fans are so quick to attack the 17 year old Archuleta just so they can feel better about themselves over Cook's #3 debut. I guess it's easier than facing the reality that season 5 winner Taylor Hicks, already a has been, actually out sold Cook in first week sales. Of course we all know that Daughtry sold more Albums than Hicks, just to put it in a rocker perspective. Cook takes a distant 5th place when you compare him to the previous 7 winners of AI. That's not very impressive considering all the votes he got when he won this year. But, hey as long as you ignore the facts, it's all good, LMAO! I'm not even a fan of Archuleta but I think it's horrible the way you pick on this kid to try and make Cook out to be be some rock god. Heck even Ruben out sold Cook, time to get some perspective people! Try looking at age brackets, as far as teens go, 17 year old Archuleta out sold 17 year old Sparks the season 6 winner. hi supporters/fans/... david is amazing for several reasons!! david's a great guy! he takes time to talk with fans at planned and un-planned events...meaning during the tour there were "meet and greets" and when wordnerds see him off stage he signs autographs too! he's honest with people! thank you david cook! also he sings different types of songs, he sings slow, and fast songs. his vocals are great, his vocals are high, low, soft and loud! david cook writes his own music! david cook rocks!

I think Kendra's comment is terrible. The gal comes off as a phony too. It's really funny to see the under teenaged aged girls like her going nuts to try and discredit/insult such an amazingly talented performer. It's sad how many people are threatened by Cook's success and feel the need to discredit his album and his fans. He's a kind, likeable, hard-working and humble nice guy who worked hard and is achieving success. What's wrong with that? Isn't that what America is all about? But everyone's entitled to their opinions. Mine is that the album is quite good and at some points even brilliant ('Permanent', for example, with it's multiple layers of meaning and and tragic emotion). My praise of Cook should not be mistaken for an attack on Archuleta. I like both Davids, but I freely admit I only purchased Cook as I'm into rock and not a fan of pop.

First of all, the album is amazing and for every one of you who dislike the album there are about 1,000 who love it. Second of all, I had the pleasure of meeting David and attending an intimate performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC the day the album dropped, and not only did he and the band sound even better live, but he was soooo nice to each and every fan who he met after the performance. I have heard horror stories about some celebs who treat fans horribly, but this guy was such a sweet person. He deserves everything he has earned. Congrats, David!

It does get very disheartening every time I read a review it has to be a comparison with Daughtry, Nickelback or Archie. David Cook is his own man and a wonderful man at that.
