This is exactly why I am against American Idol. They don’t really care about talent they care about which singers are easily digestible and Simon Cowell wouldn’t know if a real creative musician if they bit him on the tookis

Its highly doubtful her audition made it to the judges. Most of them don’t make it past producers…just the great ones and the terrible ones. Thats why Randy doesn’t remember her.

Is there video of Colbie’s audition anywhere? I would *love* to see their reactions to an original song that has since become a major hit. It reminds me of a bit where Simon was on the Howard Stern Show, Howard brought in the guy who co-sings “Hero” from Spiderman with the dude from Nickleback to perform it, and then Cowell went on to tell him he sucks and would never have a hit on the radio.
