just to clarify something, a lot of those celebs doing the PSAs etc are NOT trying to cram their views down anyone’s throat. they aren’t talking about the candiates, issues etc. they are on the air talking about voting. period. about the need to vote, about the right to vote and the responsibility to use that right, about the notion that one voice can make a difference and about the notion that if you don’t speak up you could end up stuck with a president etc that you don’t like.
and that is all they are talking about. and to them I say keep it up. young adults often do listen and watch the celebs out there so maybe they will pay attention to the message and go to the polls.

I like Kid Rock, and like him more for being practically the only celebrity on earth to NOT run around crying about who they’re voting for. It’s nobody’s damn business. I guess it’s just part of our culture but I can’t stand when famous people mouth off and preach about who they like. OBVIOUSLY they’re allowed to pick whoever, and have views just like evryone else, but stop running around using the influence you have to get people on your side. It’s ridiculous.
