If the actors go out on strike it is going to put California families in the hole. Because it not only affects them, it affects every single person that works in the movie industry. There will be countless thousands out of work because you want a few more pennies.

ya. the Screen Actors Guild has to realize that if we go on a strike. We can not handle another one, and everyone that deal with the entertament are goin to sufer big time. and if we do go into anohter strike it will on the down time during nov, and dec it will be ok, but not really you have to realize this will be stupid

You also have to remember the fact that these actors are involved in stealing TV and Movie ideas from people. A large percentage of the hits shows were stolen from an Illinois kid, back in the 1970’s. They are still putting them on the air.
And the actors who want pay for themselves, lie to the world and pretend that these thefts never occurred, or that the kid gave them to Hollywood actors (The kid had 5 members of a small crime organization beating him/threatening him, on orders from Hollywood.)

I feel ill. As someone whose family is supported by Hollywood and not a union job we can’t afford this again. The city can’t afford it. The state can’t. You all deserve what is fair, but work it out already or the city, the state, all of us will be in big trouble.

another strike is dumb and stupid. !!!! THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CANT AFFORD ANOTHER STRIKE!!! I sell medical supplies to the special effects compaines and from what they tell me they are going through tough times right now, they dont know if they are goin to have a job or not. It not only affects them it hurts all of us. I use to be in the industry as a background artist meaning as a brackground extra. Those actors get paid way too much money, that they should be happy what they get. I wish I had that kind of money that they make. Please grow up and realize you are hurting everyone around you. Not only us but the people that you work with on the SET think of their FAMILIES and think of the rest of our famlies. We have to figur out on how to feed our families and figur out what to get them for school, clothes, or if they can go to college later down the line. PLEASE STOP AND THINK OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!

Okay, seriously? Our country is in a state of financial crisis and the SAG wants to put even MORE people out of work? How seriously selfish can you be? I am losing so much respect for the actors of Hollywood. I thought they were better than this.
