I am very disappointed that the creator of the show had Grace have sex and then her dad dies. Almost making the accusation that it was her fault cause she had sex. Way to take it to the extreme. I know this show is about teaching kids not to have sex. But I think that episode is ridiculous

Its so sad that this website doesn't know what there talking about! Season 2 hasn't premiered yet, they spliet season 1 into two parts. Season 2 comes out on June 22. The first preview for season 2 is to come out on May 3 during the movie Taking 5 on abcfamily. Grace's dad it supposed to die in season 2. Adrian gets raped, but not sure about that. Ben's dad marry's Betty, this prostitute Tom hired earlier in the season. Amy finds out about Ben's bet with Alice about how he only got with Amy to sleep with her, Amy slaps him. Last (BUT NOT LEAST!) Amy and Ricky get closer and Ben shows another side of himself.

I, like most other people on this show, love it. I love the different characters, especially Ricky haha :). But i think Amy should get with Ricky, i mean some people say he used her, and i agree to a degree, but people change. Thats one of the main themes in this show. For example, Grace- the kind, bible thumping christian took birth control in the last episode; hint hint, and Ashley changed most of her additude toward her parents and Amy. Thats my opinion.

Personally, I think the show is really great. A lot of people say that the show is fake, but these things do happen. I see it happen at my school all the time. You see a pregnant girl walk down the hallway with a boy, and yo umight just see them with two differnt people the very next day. In this day and age, that is high school, or at least the ones that I live near. I definitely don't think that Amy should be ashamed of herself for this. She should be proud of herself for deciding to stay in school. I bet that somewhere a girl in a similar situation made up her mind to stay in school because of this show. People make mistake. I guarantee that plenty of the people who enjoy this show were mistakes themselves. Secret Life has such diverse roles, and it is hard to find that in most shows. It shows kids that come from very different family lives. It is a good show and has a lot to teach to teenagers life.
And yes I am a teenager, and I love this show a lot.

This show, at times, can be a little imaginary. But if you look at the point that it attempts to make, it is very helpful and mind opening for not only the teenage generation, but also parents of teens, like myself..i have to admit, i watch this show with my 12 yr old daughter and her mom. At first i didn't think it would be good, just another Hanna Montana, but i was wrong..i like it and appriecate the message that it tries to bring out to the public. Thank you ABC Family
