Healthcare is a joke. And Obama and his supporters are saying that the pharmaceutical and insurance companies that shot down Clinton's efforts to reform it will not stand in their way this time. Only time will tell if that's really possible. I'm pretty doubtful. It's like saying the oil companies will help us use alternative energy sources. Ha ha! I also read in the paper this week that physicians are now trying to get patients to sign waivers saying they will not post negative reviews of doctors' services on consumer health care web sites. If that don't knock the First Amendment in the teeth, nothing will!

Sassy, Saturday was just plain cold and misty, I worked all day, Sunday, the Severe thunderstorms woke me up at 0400am, but there is nothing like sleeping or lazing during a storm. Today smelled like snow in the morning and a few people told me they saw slurries, but nothing stuck. I can't wait til wednesday when it is supposed to warm up. I feel an all day ride in the works for that day. Last thursday I finally took the Motorcycle driving test to get my license instead of just riding on the permit. I had to wait for the weather to warm up some, (40 is my lower limit) (degrees in temperature, women? any age for frendship) I had to put that in, I knew you would get it but Anonymous would take it out of context and say someting really ignorant. I see this latest storm is really messing up your commute, and vacation schedule. Have you checked on a HD dealership about a rental yet?

Sassy, I think that we need to start another American Revolution. Every incumbent should be thrown out of office and real working people should be voted into office. both Republicans and Democrats have acted irresponsibility. Before the Republicans came into power in 1994, the Democrats wouldn't give them the time of day much less share power, When they lost power in 1994, they demanded that they be given minority rights, they got them. I worked in a hospital for 12 years, and my mother in law was a medical biller for 25 years, so I'm very familiar with how those insurance companies rip everyone off while maintaining their huge profit margins and bonuses to their executives. Sassy, The weather is up and down here lately. 70 one day 40 the next. No wonder everyone keeps getting sick. I haven't made the trip to Myrtle Beach yet but I plan to during the spring. I want to make a trip to the mountains also. I used to live in MD and hated the winters there. Feb. was always slush month. I don't envy you the cold. I have a hard enough time with the "mild" cold weather here.
Have you noticed that every time the stock market starts to climb, someone in DC opens their mouth and it plunges again. They need to stop being negative about it. I hope you get your waterheater fixed. I couldn't imagine having nothing but cold water in the winter. As far as the computer part, I had to buy new ones last year because they crashed. I working on a Masters in Homeland Security and in Emergency Management. Two in two years. Plus softball, football, and any other ball my kids can come up with for me to help coach.

I didn't watch all of it. I have been on this kick of getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night now. I try to be in bed by 9:30 unless there is something else going on. Sometimes my meetings last longer. And then there is HOMEWORK. Continuing education is a big thing in my household. I agree, it's always wise to be careful when buying a car. Those Fords look quite nice. It's a gamble: do I drive my old van which has pretty low mileage into the ground, or do I trade it in now while it's still functioning? I so hate this process! Thanks for the advice. I shall take the incentives with a grain of salt. I mean, a working car which is paid off is probably more valuable than having to take on another car payment, especially in this economic climate. I also hate to spend big wads of money if it's not absolutely necessary. That sounds like fun, riding the bike with the kids. I hope you live somewhere where you get nice foliage in the fall and spring. I'm always envious of the bikers on beautiful days like those.

Sassy, A 750 would do just fine. Harley rents them if you want to try it that way. Or you can go to your local community college anf take the Basic Riders Course, they usually provide the bikes and the only prerequisite is that you have to know how to ride a bicycle. That leave Anon ou. My kids ride with me sometimes, One at a time. It's a great way to bond. i see anonomous still has his potty mouth. At least now we know that he can't help playing with himself.

Sassy, According to the MRS. it's been going on for a while, Me? My 45 b-day. Trucks are great, 4-wd if possible and affordable. Believe it or not, a bike is great stress relief. I don't do the interstate though. Too many blind idiots that don't see bikes. Rent one for the weekend and try it, you'll love it. I see Anon hacked into mommy's computer again. Really, Some people should really keep an eye on their brats. I won't call him a kid because his behavior is that of a brat, No Class or breeding. Better yet, looks like a whoopin' is in order for this one. Maybe even wash that mouth out with soap. Make it a big bar of IVORY.
