I’m very confused…I just read an article on JUNO that she just completed a triathlon. Correct me I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure feet are involved in this activity.
How can she not be able to judge a fashion show but can participate in this physical activity?
This is DIVA at its worst…what gives?

I personally would have loved to see Kimora, P. Diddy or someone like Marc Jacobs judge. It’s fashion week, everyone that’s important is there, they could have found someone to take J-Lo’s place. I think Jenny from the block is lying about this foot injury. There are pictures of her going to dinner with Nicole richie and others. This could have really helped her failing career. She’s stupid. Bring on Tracy Reese or someone.

Im sure if JLo could of been there she would of its not easy when u have a painful foot injury to sit and concentrate on clothing. She would of been fabulous on project runway..Maybe next time around, they will reconsider her again.

Ok… I guess ill be the only pro JLO person on this board. With that being said, I was looking forward to her being on the show. Do I think she is a fashion icon? Actually yes. Herers why: Im sure some designers practiacally break their necks trying to get JLO in their garments ( I love/hate that the show makes me refer to “clothes” as “garments” now) for whatever red carpet,event,etc. She’s an influence with an imense following. Is she the chicest? No, but ask your neighbor who she is and theyll know. Ask them who Anna Wintour is and theyll probably have no idea. Sometimes fashion is just as much about accesibility as it is aspirational.

OK I like JLo well enough (and agree that a foot injury is a LAME-O excuse) but am even HAPPIER that Tim Gunn is the One. The Best Judge Ever. I certainly do think he can be impartial and his taste level is impeccable. Yea–a saving grace to this crappy season of my favorite show.
