This truly is a great show, and my favorite on tv right now – they advance the plot very quickly, the acting is great, and the effects are movie-like. I suspect a lot of people just don’t “get it”, and probably don’t get sci-fi in general. I fear the show is headed to the same syndicated Sci-Fi Channel fate as Dark Angel – I just hope they can get another season or two out of it.

I am a big fan of this show and have been waiting patiently for the second season, but somehow i didn’t see one advertisement for the second season premiere. they can’t expect much in terms of ratings if they aren’t going to even provide the most basic level of informational promotions. I don’t think it’s the world’s greatest show but it’s at least as good as what else is out there. I hope they give it a decent run.

Terminator is a great show, if only FOX would promote it and place it properly. As it stands the show has a huge contingent of DVR viewers. This means people want to watch, they just can’t during that time slot.
But yet how has FOX started off this season? They dumped all their advertising on Fringe just praying for an X-Files remake, and what did it get them? 9 million viewers? I think House beats that in re-runs. And with DVR numbers Sarah Connor (last season) beat that as well.

I also note that the networks’ starting the season in dribs and drabs probaby hurts all the shows. Maybe the fall season should wait until fall is actually here. Even if everything was not ready to premiere, people would expect it then.

The ratings have always been joke as the sampling is so small that they really do not reflect what is watched. Plus now with all the different ways of watching – direct tv, internet, tivo, dvr and even the now old-fashioned taping of tv, who really watches things live. Personally I tivo’d it and watched it Tuesday night late and enjoyed it. I don’t watch the other shows mentioned except Chuck. Strangely, if it was on the Sci-Fi network, the ratings it received would be great. The network should move it though – perhaps even putting it at a later time slot.
