little joy is fantastic! i started listening to them because the strokes are my favorite band, and i was NOT dissappointed. (: i’m definitely going be seeing them live asap.

I met Fab on Thursday in NYC, where he tried to get me and a friend into a show, since we were under 21, but it couldnt be done! SO, he gave us a hug and we told him we are going to Boston to see him.. So, last night, we met up with him again and he completely remembered us. He felt bad that we couldnt get into the NYC show and was so glad we came. We chatted for a bit and he hugged us again. He is seriously the nicest guy I have ever met. The Little Joy show was amazing and it was so great to sit and talk to him!

I saw Little Joy last night and it thought they were ok. I have seen The Strokes over 20 times and I miss them! I am nostalgic every time I see one of these guys playing in their side projects. We want The Strokes back! Please…….

i feel the same as nathan – i would like to have another strokes album to listen to. they are one of my all time fave bands. i live in australia and i want everyone to know we all love the strokes down here!

I’m sooo happy that Fabrizio and Amarante are working together! The Strokes and Los Hermanos are two of my favorite bands, and they have such different aesthetics that I think something very interesting will come out of this partnership. The only downside is that Los Hermanos is officially on hold, for an unlimited amount of time, and Strokes is unofficialy on hold, with two previous band mates working on solo careers or side projects. I fear for both of the bands.
