Could this be a star-studded year for Eli Stone, ABC’s sophomore drama about a do-good lawyer? EW.com has learned that Sigourney Weaver — who voiced the ship’s computer on Wall-E this summer and co-starred in Baby Mama — will make a guest appearance on the critically-lauded dramedy this fall. She’ll play a therapist who treats Eli (Jonny Lee Miller), according to an insider. Earlier this summer, the show scored a major casting coup by recruiting Katie Holmes to sing and dance in an episode this fall.

LOVE Eli Stone – so glad ABC gave it a 2nd season! (Why can’t CBS be as smart?)
ABC has a great track-record so far… “Eli Stone”, “LOST”, “Pushing Daisies”, picking up “Scrubs” after NBC foolishly dropped it (though if Braff isn’t coming back, it won’t be the same, but I’ll watch it just to see Chalke :> )

I actually watched Grey’s Anatomy after bailing after the George/Izzy/Callie mess. Watching one ep. got me interested again. So it’s a full DVR this fall: Grey’s, YEAH PUSHING DAISIES, DirtySexyMoney Woo Hoo! and Eli Stone for not just being a great show but being a catalyst to make George Michael tour again, just caught the show here in the ATL in July…freakin sweet! ABC rules.
