BRING BACK SWINGTOWN!!! I don't believe Swingtown lacked fans -- there's got to be something wrong with the rating process. I'm sick of good shows getting cancelled after one season! With all the lousy programs on tv, it really bugs me when one of the few good ones gets cancelled. Stations should commit to good quality programming, and do more advertising for the ones that fly under the radar. Sometimes it takes awhile for the word to spread. I've missed the first seasons, and more of some programs that turned out to be my favorites!

All this talk about not renewing swingtown is making me sad. I loved the show and think it deserves a real shot at becoming a ratings winner. It didn't get a fair start. It took 3 seasons for "Everybody Loves Raymond" to become popular and I believe it was the same for "Star Trek Voyager" as well. Give "Swingtown" time to grow and give people a chance to watch. It was aired during the summer- people go on holidays. Take all these factors into account before you cancel an original and fun summer programme.

I was in the 8th grade in 1976 and all the fun of the 70's came back with Swingtown. The 70's brought lots of changes and Swingtown has a unique way of teaching us just how important these years were to all of us, especially free speech and womens rights. My husband and I love to watch each episode together and when he travels he watches the episodes online and we have a great time talking about who did what this week. It's a great conversation with friends because we all want to know "the what if" and "what will happen next", plus sharing some memories of our own. It's a great show with really great writers, an hour is never enough watching "SWINGTOWN".

CBS, learn a lesson from AMC. Mad Men doesn't get a CSI-sized audience but it is still a hit and is talked about way more than the cookie-cuter CIS menagerie. Swingtown was lots of Fun! I enjoyed watching a depiction of the seventies. As for moral content, Swingtown is no more immoral than most other shows. The envelope of sex and adultery and drugs has been pushed long ago, and there is no turning back to the world of Andy Griffin. As for CSI there was once a joke about a radio station that played only Dark Side of the Moon, by Pink Floyd.."All Dark, all the time." was its slogan. Well, the channels in my favorite tv package are close to that situation. CSI marathons all the time, SVU and NCSI and CSI ad nasuem. The characters all are beginning to look like Olivia and Elliot. Law and Order was fresh once upon a time. That stuff isn't fresh anymore. I even saw CSI or Law and Order listed on TV Land. I will soon stop paying for cable, because there is simply no thing to watch! Bring back Swingtown!

Great show.....Born in the 60's I totally relate to the kids in the show and love going down memory lane of things that remind me of my own parents at that time. I saw the finale. I WANT MORE!. How awesome would it be to take back up around 1977, Saturday Night Fever, Disco. As I watch this show, I also feel sadness for my friends who have passed on and seeing this show helps me remember when we were 20 something together, they were here and life was so fun with them.

I am sick and tired of the TV networks ignoring my buying power, my age group and our ability to still make an impact on life. I want more. Come on CBS, MORE. If you go to tvbythenumbers.com, you read so many people who want this fasctinating show to continue. I was hooked. I lived the 70’s, managed not to get diseases, learned my lessons, had a ball, raised a kid, kept my morality.and the life I lead today has nothing to do with the show. I loved this show, the music, the reality of the way it was and everybody had a choice. It was a different concept, I’d like to see it kicked up a notch on cable if CBS doesn’t have the guts to keep it. They after all gave us BIG Brother? Which I wouldn’t spend 2 seconds on, I would do a load of clothes or go the gym first. Soap Operas have more questionable story lines than swingtown. If this show was called something else, maybe all you uptight souls wouldn’t be complaining so much.

Swingtown is more than a summer fill-in
Everything about it is top-notch and equal to anything seen on prime-time fall/winter schedule
Fans who loved the show followed it from time slot to time slot(not so good for a new show) Your storyline was great because it involved every character. No Stars just a handfull of excellent actors who made the show believable.

It is the ONLY show I watch weekly. I can't stand to miss the show. If I have to, you can dang sure bet im online watching the next day. you can't have a finale like last nights and not finish it all out. I am dying to see more... I don't even want to have to wait. Bring it back NOW! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Can't believe another good show is being cancelled after just one season. If they at least came with SOME resolution of the characters, it wouldn't be so bad. Don't do this. Keep Swingtown swinging.

I for one would like to say that I know many many people that do not think this show is appropriate.
I do not think that it should be on, yes its on at night when little ones should be in bed but you still have other groups( teens etc.) that should not be. This show sends a terrible message.. CBS can find other good drama type shows...

Swingtown is great. A few groups are upset with the content but all they need to do is explain the plot. The 70's was the feel good sexual decade. Many families with older teenager's or children in their early 20's could benefit from Swingtown and see how family values started declining in the 70's. This show explains many people do not have family values. Once the family bonds started breaking the generations after this continue to crumble. All decisions you make in life have a potential to change you life forever. I can't see this show is worse than 2 1/2 men with Charlie Sheen sleeping with anything and everything (and this show has reruns at 7:00, primetime). Please don't cancel Swingtown. Lets inform special interest groups how this show could be used in the positive.

PLEASE DON'T CANCEL SWINGTOWN!!! I have grown tired of the CSI spinoffs and other court/cop dramas! This show was fun and I actually looked forward to watching it each and every Friday night. Swingtown is the best new show that has appeared on the television in years! PLEASE KEEP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
