I am a big THE PRISONER fan, but let’s face it, the original series ended in a bumbling MESS. Even the filmmakers admitted they had no clue what they were doing when they started the series. It was a great idea that ended, but it didn’t end well…
THE PRISONER is great material for a remake… the original was great, and there will never be another, but there’s DEFINITELY room for some improvement!

I do not like this idea at all. When I first heard they were doing it I was excited (at the time apparently Christopher Eccleston was rumored to play #6). Now that there is an American actor I don’t like in the part, I probably won’t bother watching it. Also not sure how I feel that they are only having one #2. In the series they changed. I love Ian McKellen, but see this as a disaster in the making.
