Jack Black has dropped out of the Warner Bros. comedy Man-Witch, which he was developing with director Todd Phillips (Old School) and screenwriter Jay Reiss for the past year. It’s unclear why the comedian abandoned the project. Black was intending to take on the role of a schoolteacher who, after suddenly discovering he has witchlike abilities, joins a school of witches only to discover that his classmates are all girls.
