BTW! FOR EVERYONE SAYING THAT HE NEEDS TO BE DARK AND EXOTIC IS WRONG. The game tells all. play it. the prince actually looks like he has never seen the sun. HE’S PALE.

His facial hair isn’t right in the movie. haha such a minor detail but I liked the prince’s facial hair in the game much much more. it had a cool thing going on. PATHETIC casting. The prince in the game looked practically emo. no offence, jake just looks happy go lucky even if he has a bad look going on. He makes his sword look like an over-sized twinkie. That is all i’m going to allow myself to say about this.

I think jake was a wrong choice he looks nothing like the prince of persia, why cant hollywood use cast that look like the original cast in the game! What have they done to Farah, Kaileena, Where is your input Jordan Mecchaner you designed the game! Does ‘Time only know?’ At least Onimusha has the original Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, and makes me want to watch the movie, prince of persia your a miss for me!!!

Look I’ve got no problem with Jake in this first movie because he somewhat looks like the young prince. But they need someone different for the 2 sequels. Unless you’ve played the games you don’t know how ruthless the prince can actually be, and that’s just not Jake.By the way The God of War might be played by Djimon the guy from Blood Diamond and Never Back Down and Andre 3000 might be Afro Samurai in a live action movie.

hi,i am german,american girl but i have been in iran many times,because of my job.i am archeologist.despite your idea that you said iranian are arab or black,they are not arab or black at all.they are white or pale skin with dark hair or eyes.but also they have people with blue,green,brown eyes.wow they are wonderful.iranian girls and boys are so nice and cute…..their cities,culture,historical places are wonderful.their most historical cities in iran are shiraz,isfahan,khuzestan that they have historical places with 2000 to 3000 years of age.wow….and the most famous dynasty is achamenian that they were living 2500 years ago around shiraz.i think jake is going to be an achamenian prince..he can be like the persian..i have seen many boys and men like jake..really…i really suggest you to go to iran.and feel their history.they are not bad at all..they are so kind,so kind,so kind

If you look closely at the prince he does look somewhat white himself especally with those almost glowing blue eyes.But I do agree with the angry Persians that ther needs to be an actual Persian and that Jake should get a GIANT BOOT shoved up his ass and kicked off the set (same with Gemma A). There are actual actors that look almost exactly like the Prince and one of them is an actual Prince. If you think about it the casters are almost like kids at a candy store but the can only have one thing. The only problem is that they choose the worst thing that they could possibly find. To tell you the truth the only people that should be allowed to touch this movie are Michel Bay (Only for special effects),The Makers of Troy (For storyline purposes),& a REALLY RAELLY GREAT ACTION MOVIE DIRECTER (FOR REALLY REALLY GREAT MOVIE ACTION. Don’t blam me about Mickel Bay because unlike most Directors he actually has the actors do Real stunts w/ Real explosions etc. Examples: The Rock & Transformers

ok so there are quite a few things wrong with this movie, ive been following its production since 2006 and i need to point out a couple things, for one jake although a brilliant actor is no persian i mean look at the video game prince and the pics of jake no similarities what so ever, i mean im persian and i look more like the prince than he does if you dont belive me look and my myspace myspace.com/paymonpira , next is the fact, that due to disney producing the movie and for anyone who knows the storyline of the prince of persia disney will DESTROY it and try to make it like pirates of the carribean because it would increase revenue, dont get me wrong jerry bruickheimer is a brilliant producer and the cinamatography will be amazing but other than that the movie is a JOKE!

lastly, actors like Sendhil Ramamurthy from Heroes and Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan from the movie Krrish, although they are Indian, look a million times more like the Prince than Gyllenhaal.
