Transformers 2 negotiations between Jonah Hill and DreamWorks have broken down, and the Superbad star is no longer expected play a sidekick to Shia LaBeouf in the upcoming sequel from director Michael Bay.
Word is that he will appear in a cameo role in Ben Stiller’s Night at the Museum 2 for director Shawn Levy.

I don’t know if this is a fake or not but if it’s true, I told you guys so. I had posted on another thread like this and I said the comedy should be kept at a minimum and not in every scene. This movie is serious and big to have someone come in and make it into a comedy. This is about the Autobots and the Decepticons fighting each other. Hence the title “Transformers”.
This is GREAT news. Jonah just seems like a complete arse. I absolutely hated Superbad just because none of the characters (except the cops) were likeable at all. He was even crap in Sarah Marshall. There appears to be evil and arrogance in his eyes. If he does appear in Transformers 2, I can guarantee the final gross will be about $300m short of the first film.

uh, this movie isn’t “big” shockquake, it’s just another tumble toward the hell cinema is inevitably going to find itself in due to over blown jackasses like Michael Bay (and chum Uwe Boll) making stupid movies like Transformers. Please, tell me you liked Alien vs. Predator: Reqiuem. Please. (by the way, Jonah Hill for the win!)
peter berg: how do you know this movie isn’t big if you haven’t seen it yet. You don’t know what’s going to happen in this 2nd movie or who’s going to be in it. When I say big I mean it will be a blockbuster or even surpass TF 1. Don’t jump to conclusions man.

You’re all insane. Jonah Hill is the hottest guy in the whole world AND the funniest, most amazing actor since Charles Grodin or Ben Gazzara (funny in a different way but comparable genius). I would pay good money to see him, like, turn into a truck or whatever, BUT without him in it I would never dream of attending this debacle. Without Jonah Hill, you might as well set the Tom-Tom in your mammoth nerdmobiles for the junkyard and steer ‘em right in. DreamWorks just transformed themselves into a box office bomb! George Lucas just jumped the shark! Jonah Hill should be in all movies from now on. Spoiler alert: this movie will suck.

Mr T, I didn’t even see Superbad because he was in it. I figured the title described his acting.
I quite jonah hills perfomances for the most part, granted Strange Wilderness was crap but you can only do so much with an awful script. And i response to Mr T i can happily say Jonah Hill is a really nice guy, got speak with him for a quite a while when i attended a regional premier for Superbad in the U.K and he’s nothing like you presume him to be.
