Kristen Bell hopes to return to 'Heroes'

Elle_lGood news for fans of Kristen Bell's deranged Elle Bishop on NBC's Heroes: The actress told EW.com that her reps are working to get her back on the NBC mythology drama next season. "I have made it more than clear that I want to come back and they have made it more than clear that they want me back," she told EW.com while walking the red carpet at the Forgetting Sarah Marshall premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday. "With the writers strike, it threw everyone for a loop and now they have to work around everyone's schedules. I love that the next season is supposed to be subtitled "Villains." I am thrilled by the idea that my good friend Zach Quinto (Sylar) and I could possibly have scenes together."

And if the producers aren't able to work out a deal to secure Bell, there is always the Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff in the works at The CW from Rob Thomas, the mastermind behind Bell's old UPN drama Veronica Mars. "We have talked about it," admits Bell. "We definitely want to team up in the future and I have no doubt that it will happen someday. At this point, I am about to start another movie and then I have Heroes and narration for Gossip Girl so I don't know if I will have time this year. But I am super excited at the idea of a 90210 remake or update. We have powwowed about it and I let him borrow my DVDs of the original season." (With reporting by Carrie Bell)

The only thing I liked about Bell's appearance on Heroes was when Claire made her dump the Slurpee on herself and refused to be intimidated by Bell's scare tactics. If they promise to continue to beat the sh1t out of her, then I'm all for her returning.

I still want to see the spinoff of Veronica Mars!

Elle and Adam were the only new characters I was invested in during Season 2, so I'd absolutely love for her to come back! With her history with The Company, there's so much we can learn, not just about Elle & Bob, but also Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Petrelli, etc!

How many seasons will she need to be on Heroes before I see what the big deal is about this person? If I didn't watch Veronica Mars, what should I care if Bell is still on Heroes? If I had to choose, I'd rather have Ali Larter over this Bell person.

I like her and her character. So I am excited of the possibility of her returning. Im sick of Sylar. bleh. They just need to make her character more cut throat.

Quit hating Jane, Kristen Bell is one of the best TV actresses that have graced the screen in a looonnngg time...

Sorry, but I agree with Jane...

Kristen Bell's "badass-wannabe" performance as Elle this season was kind of painful to watch. I'm sure it's also due to less than stellar writing for the character, but Bell didn't do herself any favors with her performance. The best part WAS when Claire schooled Elle.

I started watching Heroes because she joined the cast, but her character was given nothing to do. She'd be smart to jump ship to something else. However, I think another high school drama would be a mistake. I thought I heard or read that Bell was offered a part in a new Rob Thomas show where Rene Russo would play her mother. And I'm pretty sure it was not the 90210 remake.

Piece of advice for Ben: Catch any episode of Veronica Mars (I'd recommend season two's finale "Not Pictured") and you will absolutely know "what the big deal is" about Kristen Bell.

Um... yeah, Elle was probably my thrid-least favorite character, just behind Damon and Maya. She was pretty snarky and too pretentious and just there for eye-candy and annoyed the heck out ot me. Unless they figure out what to do with her besides be the anti-Claire and explain why Noah didn't want Claire to be taken by the company (laaame), then please, I'm all for Sylar actually killing her, even if they are BFFs in real life.

In addition, I've noticed that the majority of people who liked Elle were people who liked Bell in the first place, so the whole "elle is great" thing is a tad bit biased. Same goes for Dania Ramirez fans loving Maya and for Star Trek fans loving Grandma Uhura.

I liked the Elle character, but she should not try so hard to be badass. Just be the character, and the character isn't necessarily bad ass. She can't pull off the bad ass part too well. Other than that, I liked her on the show and would like to see her back.
