AnnaLynne McCord (Nip/Tuck) has joined the cast of CW’s planned spinoff of Beverly Hills 90210, from executive producer Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars). McCord will play Naomi, a hot, rich, and popular Beverly Hills high schooler (is there any other kind?). There are still many roles to be cast for the drama, which is in contention for fall, but Thomas
has already cast Dustin Milligan (The Messengers) as Ethan, a likable star athlete.
Published reports have said the spinoff will revolve around the Mills family, whose matriarch, Tabitha, is a 60-something has-been actress and alcoholic. Tabitha’s adult son, Harry, moves back home to care for his mother. Joining him are his wife Celia, an Olympic athlete-turned-personal trainer, and their two 16-year-old kids who will may make up the new 90210 crew.

Well, good luck, CW. I haven’t watched you since you cancelled “Veronica Mars” and I doubt I ever will…..
Gee, I wish they could produce a brain-shriveling show that revolves around a bunch of hot, rich, and popular Beverly Hills high schoolers.
Isn’t she kind of old to be playing a teen? i loved her on American heiress and she played a 28 year old on there. It’s bad enough a 29 year old played Andrea on the original 90210. Why can’t they get young people to play young people.
If people were willing to accept Luke Perry and Ian Zerring as teens (receeding hairlines and wrinkled brows not withstanding) then this chick shouldn’t face undue scrutiny.
She is smoking hot. I might have to check this show out now.

well…I see I’m not the only one who thinks she looks so much older (beautiful, though). But they’re right: the original version had IAN ziering and LUKE PERRY!!! (or even “andrea zuckerman” with a million wrinkles)
