I hated Velvot Revolver with a passion for so long because I am such a HUGE GN'R fan and I hate how Slash, Matt, and Duff are in the band. And I also hated how much Scott changed his style. It was like he doesnt know who he really is. Plus, he sounds a little too much like Pearl Jam's lead singer. So their split has made me extremely happy. While I think a short reunion with Axl to have most of the originals back for a tour would be great, I think Velvet Revolver should definatly stay a band. Their lead singer, should be someone with a voice all his own (same with style) and one that will be remembered.

I think Velvet Revolver needs a more solid singer. I think Scott's voice has became weaker since his days with STP where it was the strongest. I hope VR gets a someone who has alot of power and doesn't dance around like a clown on stage. Scott's stage antics are disgusting.

I seen VR and I will have to say that Scott Weiland is the best front man I have ever seen in concert and I have seen over 100 top bands. My choices for a replacment are:
1. John Carabi (The Scream, Motley Crue, ESP, Union)
2. Joe Leste (Bang tango, Beutiful Creatures)
3. Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth)
4. Sebastian Bach (Skid Row, Madam X)
5. Axl Rose (GnR)
Just kidding on the last, stay away from him.

I think that VR should consider JOE LESTE of formerly of both LA bands; Beautiful Creatures and Bang Tango.
He has the sound, the look nad the credentials forthe job.
But most importantly he has something most current bands woefully lack: STAGE PRESENCE
