McConaughey as Magnum? Oh, please…no way! Tom IS Magnum…and no one else! If there has to be a new Magnum P.I. show, then make it right! Find the real actor, not a..kid. Please. Maybe Mick Cole could do it.

Tom has stated that he would like to do the movie if the script were correct. It would be the only logical choice to cast Selleck in this role. If it is anyone else, I won’t bother to go see it.

They asked Tom Selleck if he wanted to be involved and he said no. I wish they leave TV shows alone,especially a show like Magnum. Every remake has been a disaster.I like Matt, but he’s not right for Magnum.I don’t think anybody is.

Listen…no one’s gonna watch this kid doing the character of Magnum. Tom Selleck is Magnum, and people loved that show, and they have special memories connected with it. Matthew McConaughey will just riun the whole stuff. You know?
