Ugly Betty is about to get a new voice. ABC Studios has recruited Joel Fields, who last served as the No. 2 exec producer on the FX drama Dirt, to share showrunning duties with longtime exec producer Silvio Horta. Fields takes over the job recently vacated by Marco Pennette, who has left the drama. Fields' other credits include co-exec producing Commander in Chief. Betty is one of several shows at ABC Studios undergoing leadership changes. The studio recently lured Daniel Cerone (Dexter) to help run Dirty Sexy Money, and Private Practice is on the lookout for a new showrunner, too.
