My only question is: "WHICH British pirate station?" In the 1960s, there were several, including Radio London and Radio Caroline. Radio London, for example, was on a converted surplus WWII U.S. Minesweeper packing 50,000 watts of power, anchored in the very rough North Sea. From what I understand, they often had trouble keeping the needle on the record when the ocean got rough, and the DJ's chair was actually strapped down! When I saw the headline "Hoffman in talks for Boat That Rocked", I immediately thought of Dustin. My girlfriend thought of Robert (Step Up 2). Funny that EW and their writers were to make me think it was supposed to be Philip Seymour Hoffman with that headline? I would have never thought it...
