Kate Walsh (pictured with Tim Daly) may have been in this season’s second-highest rated new drama Private Practice (before it ran out of fresh episodes during the writers’ strike), but that doesn’t mean everything will remain status quo. Several sources confirm that creator Shonda Rhimes is hunting for another exec producer to spruce up her Grey’s Anatomy spin-off. Practice’s Wednesday companion, Dirty Sexy Money, just hired it’s own EP, Daniel Cerone, executive producer of the 2004 CBS baseball drama Clubhouse. A footnote: Though Practice won’t return with new outings till the fall, ABC says there are no plans for Walsh to drop by Grey’s this spring.

I thought Private Practice was the highest-rated new drama ? It’s ratings still beat the newer shows like Terminator appearing now & it’s initial competition Bionic Woman has hit the dust ! What’s the highest rated new drama then ?
Grey’s is HORRIBLE without Addison or Burke but I started watching Private Practice for Addison but Naomi’s storyline is what keeps me watching. They only problem with Private Practice is they rewrote Addison into a character I don’t even recognize. They need to write her sweet yet stern and outspoken (like posting that underwear on the wall on Grey’s)like she was on Grey’s. That’s the Addison I want back.
