Randy Jackson to help produce Paula Abdul's new album

Randypaula_l
Hot on the heels of Paula Abdul’s lip-synch-tastic Super Bowl performance, her American Idol costar Randy Jackson has confirmed that he will have a hand in producing her forthcoming full-length album. “We’ve been talking about it,” Jackson told EW.com during a taping of his latest side-project, MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, which premieres Thursday night. “We gotta keep things rolling, you know?” No release date or label has been announced yet, but last week Paula Abdul’s official website posted a message saying to expect an album in Summer 2008.

I love Paula Abdul and still treasure my “Forever Your Girl” and “Spellbound” CDs. But the fact that she’s coaching performers who are required to sing live on national TV every week but can’t even sing live herself is pretty crummy. Sure, she’s never been the best singer, but c’mon, at least make an effort to be somewhat real, especially when it’s your first live performance in however many years.

After seeing Paula’s wooden performance prior to the Superbowl, please someone close to her and Randy should tell them the both didn’t make the cut and should just stay at their new job on American Idol it easier to ignore them by tuning that show out.

I will buy Paula Abdul’s new album on its release date at a record store in L.A. during June 2008. And it the best album that Paula Abdul has since the 1990’s.

R U kidding me people? Her song “Dance like There’s No Tomorrow” sounds great to me. I am a picky person & I have to hear a certain song to be able to get up on the dance floor & dance. & this is 1 of those songs where when the DJ plays it, people will be elbow to elbow on the dance floor. MARK MY WORDS!

paula is cool…i loved her old cd’s also….granted paula doesnt have the best voice but to say she doesnt qualify to be a judge because of that is retarded…i cant sing but i know what my ears like and what they dont like….i dont think shes trying to make a “comeback” so just let her have her fun and get back in the studio….if u dont like it, dont listen to it..it’s as simple as that

Paula Abdul is one of the most remembered pop artist of the ’90’s. People love her soft, light, angelic voice. Just because you didn’t, don’t be a hater and just forget about it. It’s funny that you’re wasting your time commenting on something that don’t interest you. I love Paula and I don’t care who knows! All of you Paula Abdul Haters can kiss both of our butts.
