Former ‘N Syncer JC Chasez knows a thing or two about dance moves (he rocked the “Bye Bye Bye” routine back in the boy-band day), and now he’ll be joining Randy Jackson at the judging table for MTV’s newest reality competition show, Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew. In a message sent to MySpace friends on Friday, Chasez announced his participation in the show, which starts airing Feb. 7. A few weeks ago, the Hollywood Insider spoke to Jackson about why he chose to take part in this search. “I just love the whole concept,” he told us. “I love the battle, it’s like back to the B-Boys and Krush Groove days, when Michael Jackson had ‘Beat It.’ Or the cast of High School Musical against Hair. I think it’s really cool. And these kids, they pump each other up. I’m like, ‘Yo, this is hot!’” Yo.

FINALLY some good news for the talented Mr. Chasez! Hopefully this will help to get that long-gestating sophomore album out to the public (i.e. in my grubby li’l hands!).
Hopefully this is the start of a new and healthier relationship with MTV for JC. I’ll be watching, mostly for JC. Sorry Randy and wannabe dancers.

the teams that auditioned know way more about dance than he does. i don’t know why he’s judging. the outcome of his album should not justify a talented group’s opportunity to win. jc chasez is talented, just not in dancing.
adding to what i had posted earlier, there are more well respected and talented dancers than jc. they could’ve brought in chris brown, ciara, jLo, usher… just to name a few. it’s like wade robson judging american idol. dancing can be incorporated into singing, but it’s not jc’s expertise.

Um,you do realize he’s been in dance competitions since childhood, was on a dance variety show and has has more dance training than the AMATEURS that are auditioning. Educate yourself before you say something

wow whoever said wannabee dancers obviously doesnt know wat dance is probably most likely not even a dancer if your not a dancer you should have anything to say about dancing because you obviously werent picked to do the show… anyone who has balls enough to get up on that stage and dance in front millions of viewers and is actually getting noticed and famous off of this completely better than you ever will be so just sit on that couch and just watch cuz thats pretty much the only talent you have…. just sitting there and watching

I truely beleive that J.C., lil mama and that other homo that have been chosen by some retard to be judges have absolutely no idea about what they’re doing. I honestlly think the show is rigged, c’mon, live in color was way better than fish n chicks, seriously. F.Y.I, I am in no way affiliated to anyone on that show but those judges keep on sending the wrong crews home. That is because they don’t have any judging skills, really, J.C., he can’t any of that stuff those dancers do on stage. C’mon, his N’sync dance routines were no where near that. Lil’ mama, I don’t even know why she’s on T.V., she can’t sing, maybe she can dance a little, she not pretty, and that other guy, yea he’s a punk. Because of the judges, me, my gf, my sis, and her bf are never watching that show again. It’s stupid to watch the best crew’s go home at the hand of the “judges” who don’t know much of anything. Someone please fire those incompetant morons. The show sucks now.

Shane sparks is the other judge that you referred to as “homo” is a dancer. Shane Sparks. He can really dance….he probably knows more about dancing than lil mama or JC. You probably never heard of him because he does choreography instead of being in movie and videos

You’re all retarded. All this talk about judges that don’t know what they’re doing by a bunch of people commenting about stuff they don’t know jack about. The show was ENTERTAINING, and it was something I could watch and discuss with my kids. We had a blast doing it together.
