I feel the awards are all about celebraties and not the public. Why do we always have to have these events on TV? Let the stars intertain themselves without the public making over them

I think everyone in tv and movies make more than the average smo…so why should the rest of us have to do without entertainment to satisfy the selfish few….hollywood is infantile and the foriegn press are really stupid…no one will watch the press conference but billons would have watched the awards.

I think it would be hilarious if the whole TV/movie industry just stopped. On a very basic level I do appreciate entertainment but I’d really like to see it crash and burn if only to prove the point that it’s not as siginificant as they think it is. We need to knoch HOLLYWOOD off it’s extremely high horse. Get over yourselves. There’s more going on in the world than that. We’ll be okay without movies and TV. I think TV worse than it’s been in a long time anyway. Movies too. I’d laugh if many highly popular shows got permanently cancelled. It’s just funny to me.

The world is going to dissolve if we can’t have celebrities publicly congratulating themselves! What are we gonna do?
I say we ban all award shows right now. They were good for nothing before the strike and will continue to be.
I’ve been perfectly content without fresh episodes of even some of my favorite shows. The absence of it really puts into perspective how much I didn’t really care about TV to begin with. With super serious and annoying shows like HEROES dominating the TV world, I’m happily accepting the strike. I hope it ends with many cancelled shows.
