Hollywood Records has confirmed that the Jonas Brothers’ second album — which Hollywood Insider has heard is thisclose to being finished — will be released on July 8. No word yet on a title (or whether their Oliver Twist/Panic! At the Disco-inspired New Year’s look will carry over). Produced by John Fields (Rooney, Clay Aiken), who also manned the boards for the Bros.’ platinum-plus self-titled debut, much of the new record was recorded on a tour bus while the band was on the road opening for Miley Cyrus for the sold out Hanna Montana “Best of Both Worlds” tour. With that trek coming to an end on Jan. 9, the boys will reconvene in a proper L.A. studio to finish up work on sophomore effort. Yesterday, the band announced that they have signed a two-year, multi-million dollar deal with LiveNation and would kick off the first leg of their upcoming “Look Me in the Eyes” tour on Jan. 31 in Tuscon, AZ.

Wouldn’t it be their third cd? They had “It’s about time” in 2006 and “Jonas Brothers” in 2007
I was about to say the same thing as Ashley. If anything, this would be their second album with Hollywood Records, but their third as a band.

Yes, I love the JB, and I’m like SOOOOOOOOOOO looking foreward to their concert!!!! I only went to the Miley/Hannah concert to see the Jonas Brothers, LOL. And it is their third, not second.
Actually, the first album was not with hollywood records, it was produced with columbia records. So with hollywood rec. it would be a sophmore album and also the first album never got as good recognition as it should have gotten.

These are lovely boys…I am a huge fan and not a teenager anymore – there is just something so special about them, a step beyond their music (and for sure apart from looks) that makes you want to support them completely! And they totally give it back to their fans, every day. They’ve brightened the scene! I hope they keep going strong.

Everybody’s right! It is their 3rd CD! I am really excited about it! i haven’t bought their first CD yet. But I will soon!(hopefully)I heard from Twist magazine that Nick wrote a song about his Diabetes! I REALLY want to hear it because I have Diabetes too! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

i want their frist CD but because they only release about 60,000 copies, its hard to find one and when you do find on its like $90. i know and have heard all of the songs on ‘it’s about time’ their self-titled CD ‘Jonas Brothers’ is much better than the first one. probably because their talent improved emensly and nick’s voice matured some.
