Stewart and Colbert to return, writerless, January 7

Categories: Strike, TV Biz

Insider_lJon Stewart and Stephen Colbert aren’t sure what to say. The talk show hosts announced today that production on their shows, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, would resume on Jan. 7 — without their writing staffs. “We would like to return to work with our writers,” the duo said in a statement. “If we cannot, we would like to express our ambivalence, but without our writers we are unable to express something as nuanced as ambivalence.” Meanwhile, the WGA has eased its stance from being “disappointed” in those who cross the picket line (as did Carson Daly, a non-WGA member) to stressing that without their writers, Stewart and Colbert “will not give viewers the shows they’ve come to expect.”

    No DoI!
I feel like I am in 7th grade again, not just with the verbage, but with the actual exposure! I have the opportunity to promote a P Diddy Experience, a Jordin Sparks Night, a Kanyae West “Break of Dawn”, an entire Super Bowl Parade (maybe in my own head…) however, it is there! The Parties, the cocktails, the moonlighting, the shmoozing, the valedictorianation of it all (so, I might have made up a word, but it fits!) I am looking forward to the party “season,” all on the west side of Phoenix. The girls are hot and “not particular,” the cars are steal-able, and I am optomistic as how big the Parties are going to be…Skye Entertainment Venue, “Welcome to the West Side.”

I think Jon Stewart has more humane side, more journalistic persona, but regarding natural comedic actions, satire, talent, and the success and variety of show credit Colbert. Colbert is also very confident abt his talents. I really liked the part where Colbert blushed like a chick when Jane Fonda sat on his lap and kissed him on the lips. He posted his photos and new information on BLACKWHITEKISS.COM -a hot community for black and white people
