This whole thing is getting ridiculous. People are going to stop caring about this strike really soon and both parties are coming off as greedy, yes, even the writers. I'm just completely fed up with the whole thing. If for no other reason, the strike should be resolved so that the people who were forced out of work because of the strike (those who work behind the scenes i.e. stagehands etc.) can return to their jobs. Maybe now people finally start to get the f**king idea that this strike isn't something to just overlook and assume will come to an end quickly. Time to face reality, and as far as I'm concerned, I would be nothing less than delighted if this stoppage were to continue well into the summer and involve conflicts between the companies and all three unions.
