For the two weeks Donny was on ET I felt they should have changed the name to the "Donny Osmond with a little bit of the Entertainment Tonight Show" I got sick of it! I stopped watching ET and the Insider. It was Donny, Donny, Donny and Marie, Marie and the Osmonds show. Really it was rediculous! Good luck to him and his family but please use the appropriate plateform/showcase to promote you and your families upcomming attractions and keep your sound bites on these entertainment shows the normal 2-4 minutes.

It was the First whole season of dancing with the stars I've watched..I enjoyed seeing how each star improved through out the contest.I really enjoyed Marie Osmond..She not only lost 30 lbs (good For Her)..but loved her way of overcoming a Great lss and continued to do her best..Very good Show this year.

This season's contestants have been some of the best combined talent ever. And although some do not like the fact that one of the oldest contestants is in the last three, I am thinking that Marie Osmond is still far better than some who have ended up in the semi finals of other seasons although to be fair I did not care for her choice of free style. It was defineatly not her best. Let's face it, this year has been awesome to watch. I love to see the styles, the personalities and the creativity in the choreography and dancing. I am also amazed at how far everyone has come in this season. In my opinion, it is something to see people like Jenny, Jane and Cameron, Marie and Helio come out and show us what they can do and what they are made of. It is great entertainment. A lot of them, have put in some amazing time and effort to participate in this season. Bravo for all who participated and especially those in the last four shows. Bravo! I look forward season six no matter who wins.

Please, not Donny too. As well, why not have the judges vote actually mean something (ie, 70% of the final score). That way, the best dancers make it to the finals.

No More Osmonds! Please! Next season I think the judges vote should be worth 75% and the viewers vote 25%. Also, I don't think viewers should be able to vote until after the show, they should be voting for the best dancer, not their favorite celebrity. And then open it up for at least 2 hours.

I think an entire show made up of members of former family groups would be a hoot. In addition to the Jackson 5 (as another poster mentioned) how about getting a Lennon or McGuire or Pointer sister out of mothballs to be the new "oldest"? Either that or former Mouseketeers. Bobby Burgess went on to dance for Lawrence Welk - that's another whole gold mine of talent!

I LOVE THE OSMONDS! I have been a fan since the 70's. They are a clean cut, fun loving and religious family. Why do some of you have a problem with them? They have done nothing to you, so please just leave Marie and her family alone. They have been and continue to be such great role models and I must add that Marie was the only one to thank her fans when the final 3 were announced. As far as the comments about Marie being so happy when all this terrible stuff has happened, I say this: As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we believe that through the trials and tribulations of life, we are to ENDURE TO THE END. I have had many tribulations in my own life and I too take comfort in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We endure to the end looking at the positives in our life and relying on Heavenly Father's love for us. Jesus suffered MUCH MORE than we, so we should bare our trials with a smile. Marie might not be the "best" dancer but that's not the show. If we are supposed to pick the best dancers, then America wouldn't be voting, professional judges would. Why not see what Donny could pull off? He's probably had more formal dance training than Marie, having performed on variety shows since he was a tot. He looks great at nearly 50, still has a huge fan base, and would certainly bring the competitive fire that's needed. You all need to look at the bigger picture, only few of you will ever get it!! As role models the Osmonds have endured far longer than most of you ever would have in their world. I have had the pleasure of meeting Marie and speaking with her at length. She is truly a class act,

I'd love to see Donny on DWTS (or anywhere else, for that matter). I loved the good ol' Donny & Marie variety show & their talk show as well. Did anyone complain when Lisa Rena's husband was on the season after her? And by the way, Donny apologized on-air to Rosie O. appearing in a dog costume to sing his "Puppy Love".

At age 65 I enjoy DWS. Having Donnie on would be great. For those who throw cold water on the idea, I say "Wait a minute". What better role models could the Osmonds have been? We watched Donnie & Marie as a family and loved it 20 yrs ago. Now that my daughters are grown up, they still enjoy the Osmonds. Donnie in Joseph...Dreamcoat was wonderful. My daughters went to see it, and waited to talk to Donnie. He took them back stage, took a pic with them, he couldn't have been kinder. Just think about it. What kind of role models do people want for the children? They may not be perfect, but who is? Too bad smiling faces are a negative to some. I don't get it.

Donnie Osmond equals ego. He has jumped on his sisters dress tails and waltzed, cha cha-ed, and quick stepped into our homes uninvited. He is a self righteous know it all. Any one remember when he dissed Rosie about her weight. And that's when she was queen of nice.
As for Marie? "My marriage is ending but I'm still dancing. My dad died, but I'm still dancing. My son is in rehab, but I'm still dancing." I'ld like to see what meds she is on, that makes her so hyper-giggly. I'm just saying.

Personally,I'd like to see Donny do it. I do think it is best though that he waits until next fall. I don't care if you all have issues with both of them....but have some respect for the fans....some of the stuff posted here is downright vile and degrading.

I would be so happy to have Donny on DWTS. I thought of that a long time ago because I know how well he can dance already. He is just a natural. I have followed his entire career and I think he would enjoy this show so much. Go for it Donny!

I'm with the folks on the OD of Osmonds!! I don't think I would watch if Donny came on next season. Too much drama, and I'd hate to see him faint or have a kid end up in rehab because of it.

Osmonds = Ratings. Just ask Oprah. And ratings are the Holy Grail to networks. Marie may not be the best dancer but she is a ratings goldmine.

Please NO!!!! I didn't like them in their variety show and I don't like them now! I admit, I flip the channel when she dances. I am also tired of her drama off the show. Why did she even make it to the final? I agree, she is the wrong person to be there, let alone having him in next year. Give us a break!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! It's bad enough that Marie made it to the finals based on her baby boomer fan base when she is not close to being one of the best dancers, but we surely don't need her brother on there next season. I pray that Marie does not win as she is not the best dancer - go Mel B - coolest person on the planet!
