Cool Blog I like your review! Would yo consider going a review/blog of a new age album?
My Group Phoenix Rising Phoenix Rising is releasing a CD of music

I do agree with him. But honestly, who never downloaded songs illegaly, or borrow a cd from a friend? I think it is sad for rising artists like Gabe with Cobra Starship, because they entirely DESERVE to be recognized and to have their cd bought by people. I don't like to download, even if it is sometimes necessary (?). I prefer, I NEED to have to booklet, the cd in my hands, put it in my cd player, listen to every song. I am a die hard fan, like he says.
I would be sad if the cd 'died'. I am sad that these all these don't realize how artists need to sell cd, how they deserve it after weeks,
months, sometimes years of work to give us this cd.

Foolishness. Sure, little teeny boppers will continue to buy singles on iTunes but anyone with any real musical interest will ALWAYS buy a hard copy of an album. It's been almost 2 months since the Radiohead album was realeased and I have yet to listen to one song because I am waiting for that moment when I can hold the album in my hands, admire the cover art, the packaging, read the lyrics. Sure, I'll buy some crappy hip-hop/R&B/Pop/Emo/80s song off of iTunes for 99 cents...that's what it is there for. But I'll always have room in my life for the new Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Interpol, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, etc. album. If ever CDs DO go away, then I guess I won't listen to music anymore.

Eloquently put, Saporta--you is talkin' loco, and I like it! We have entered a new age that fans and the music industry don't really understand how to handle yet--it is unprecedented. We'll have to wait and see what becomes of the compact disc--I know I still enjoy purchasing a physical copy of the music I enjoy. One thing that I must admit I tend to do...I use the iTunes store to preview songs before going to an actual store to buy said disc. It has taken a lot of the guesswork out of buying music--part of me loves knowing that I'll love the cd I'm about to buy, but I do get nostalgic for the risk-taking days of yore when you knew not what you were getting yourself into when you went to buy new music. I must admit that I do try to relive those days with certain artists that I trust will deliver (your band included), or if I'm feeling dangerous, lol. Now, when the cd does bite the dust, you'd be the perfect eugoogalizor.
